Mike Hart
Director

...Like a restless character from a Tom Waits song, you have to watch these ones who go looking for poetry in the underbelly of society - or movies about it. However, given the benefit of the doubt, it might be that he was just a nice businessman from Fort Smith with a penchant for Tarantino films and seedy pulp novels.

Authorities hope the following might be useful in developing possible leads:

From the company file:

A graduate of Northside High School in Fort smith, Arkansas, Mike has been shooting and directing for 17 years. Work has taken him from one end of the country to the other, shooting everything from ice makers to western films. Video and film production are his passions. His credits include 70 Addy Awards, 2 Best of Show, a special judge's award, and an award for Breaking the Mold. National awards include a 1994 Vision Award, a 1999 Aurora, and a 2000 Telly Award. For many years, he dreamed of owning a production house, and, in 1996, that dream became a reality.

Note:

The last bit of communication from the 5-star staff was one of those innocuous inter-office e-mails aimed at "getting to know each other". Maybe it will prove to be of interest to some degree....
